Yes, the hometown paper called us selfish (Bill says “mildly criticized” because of the two of us, he’s the nicer one; I prefer not to give butthats the benefit of undeserved kindness when they attempt to paint us as nutjobs) and cast fabricated aspersions on the event.
Now a group plans to protest on I-70 during rush hour and the All-Star game and they get a kind write-up in the paper. Er, forgive me for being obvious, but doesn’t protesting in or even on the side of the highway sound dangerous?
Do you think the city made them get permits? Take out a million-dollar insurance policy? Do you expect that the Post-Dispatch will call them selfish if they don’t bring food for charities?
