Lech Walsea Rallies for Illinois for Adam Andrzejewski

Andrew Marcus has photos from the rally at which the former President of Poland and Nobel Peace Prize recipient Lech Walsea endorsed Republican Illinois gubernatorial candidate Adam Andrzejewski.

Jim Hoft has video.

ABC7:

Lech Walesa, the former polish president, is endorsing Polish-American Adam Andrzejewski in the Republican race for governor.

Walesa an iconic figure of Poland’s rise from communism but today Lech Walesa is hoping to give Adam Andrzejewski a lift in the race for governor. he two men joined together for an event at the Union League Club of Chicago.

“I have good political nose,” told ABC7 through an interpreter.

Walesa says his endorsement is about more than merely sharing Polish heritage. He believes the Hinsdale businessman would bring a new honest approach to Illinois government.

“Because he has no baggage. He is open. He can put things in order. Clean house,” said Walesa.

Tomorrow from 3 – 5 p.m. tea partiers, conservatives, et al. will rally for Andrzejewski in O’Fallon, Illinois at the Regency Conference Center, the Hilton Garden Inn at 360 Regency Drive (Hwy. 64 – Exit 16).

Reading and Watching: Sharp, An-gee-es-kee

- Comment on Big Gov:

Let’s see. The kids were taking pictures on federal property. On the other hand Mary Landrieu is taking bribes on federal property. Which of these will take the most heat?

- Great new campaign ad for Illinois republican gubernatorial candidate Adam Andrzejewski:

- Sharp Elbows visits the “classy” OFA SOTUS watch party.

- From Reboot Congress:

I wasn’t going to blog the SOTU, but I found this line from Obama to be quite rich [emphasis added]: “Well I don’t think American elections should be bankrolled… by foreign entities.” The irony is that Obama’s 2008 presidential campaign was bankrolled by foreign entities. His campaign disabled the address verification system (AVS) on his donation website. AVS is used to verify a card holder’s address. By disabling it, the Obama campaign enabled people the world over to make donations that would go unscrutinized as long as they were under $250.

Keith Olberman Lies About Kenneth Gladney

Ridiculous. Keith Olbermann is desperate to use whatever he can as some way to invalidate all the black eyes the left accrued over the past year. He denies that the Gladney incident even occurred. Is he high?

It’s a fair question. From this evening, video here:

“… when the summer confrontation when witnesses claimed a teabagger was brutally beaten despite the videotape that shows him … not being brutally beaten.”

Olbermann is, of course, speaking about Kenneth Gladney, the one black man assaulted that the left didn’t try to manipulate and exploit as a tool for votes because they profiled (I thought they were against that?) Gladney as a conservative. Left wingers like Janeane Garofalo and co. love to perpetuate the new Jim Crow of ignoring the contributions of black American conservatives – when Garofalo and co. are not busy telling them that that they have Stockholm Syndrome for daring to drop the yoke of liberalism to embrace limited government, trying to pick fights with them.

I was at the Carnahan townhall where Gladney was beaten; I left just before the incident for a segment with Greta Van Susteren. They bussed in OFA volunteers and sat them in a special reserved seating section right up front. I know this because when I snuck in the side door Carnahan and OFA staffers asked if I was with OFA, to which I said “yes,” and they showed me where to sit. OFA volunteers and HCR supporters were belligerent to others, which is why I remarked “It wasn’t a mob until they showed up.”

The raw footage:

The hilarious thing is that the video he played shows the exact opposite of what he said. Let’s look at some screenshots from the very footage that Olbermann played on his show:

Unless that man was an actor, what else is there to assume?

It wasn’t just Gladney, either. Seems Olbermann turns illiterate when it’s time to actually check the police report.
