Can I point out the irony of the left using Nazi signage as a way to claim persecution yet they continue to side with groups like Hamas whose statements against Israel sound like something lifted from Hitler’s diary?
American Power has a great post of the zany leftist groups, pro-trespass, and others who comprised the rally against the law in Arizona, including photos of the NUMEROUS naturalization, immigration, passport, and offices of other such services located all throughout Phoenix.
I’ve said it before: It amazes me the cosmetic quality of immigration concern from some on the left. It’s easier to encourage trespassers to break the law and riot in the street and hold protests denouncing leaders as Nazis than it is to actually pitch in and help these individuals become legal citizens. Conservatives are all for immigration. FTW! Bring more people over, add to the economic base, contribute to society! But just as immigrants from every other country are expected to abide by the rules when seeking citizenship, so must those coming from Mexico.
Some on the left don’t seem to care that encouraging trespassers to engage in illegal activity might hurt their chances at obtaining citizenship. They don’t care; they’re happy to use these ethnic individuals as tools for the leftist cause. I’ve featured on my show religious groups (in St. Louis even) who assist prospective Americans with becoming citizens. Where are the secular groups who do this? What happened to all the people on the left who would gladly gum for the camera and carry signs but scrammed after the protest, why did these individuals not stay and give of their money and time to help these prospectives become naturalized citizens? The Phoenix Suns, with all their millions, why have they not donated any of their money or time to help these individuals become citizens beyond a cosmetic jersey-change which gave them more press than usual?
Why are they not raising awareness for the groups which assist with naturalization? Why are they not taking up donations to offset fees to file? Why are they not petitioning their elected officials to make the process a bit easier or less expensive? Why are they not criticizing Mexico’s law and calling it “racist” as it is exponentially more stringent than our own?
Yesterday a flotilla of pro-Hamas activists carrying aid attempted to enter into the blockcaded area near Gaza, despite Israeli warnings. Ten people were killed.
Israel has already said it will prevent the convoy from reaching the Hamas-run Gaza Strip, a sliver of territory which Israel has blockaded for three years to prevent weapons and other materials it fears could be used for military purposes from reaching the enclave’s Islamist rulers.
The IDF broadcasted a warning to the terrorist-sympathizing flotilla participants:
“If you ignore this order and enter the blockaded area, the Israeli navy will be forced to take all the necessary measures in order to enforce this blockade,” the radio message continued.
The interception of the flotilla followed numerous warnings given to the organizers of the flotilla before leaving their ports as well as while sailing towards the Gaza Strip. In these warnings, it was made clear to the organizers that they could dock in the Ashdod sea port and unload the equipment they are carrying in order to deliver it to the Gaza Strip in an orderly manner, following the appropriate security checks. Upon expressing their unwillingness to cooperate and arrive at the port, it was decided to board the ships and lead them to Ashdod.
Reporter: “Despite the Israeli threats and several unexpected delays, the arrival of the ships at the meeting point before sailing to the Gaza Strip inflamed the emotions and the enthusiasm of the participants.”

In practice, besides its legitimate humanitarian activities, IHH supports radical Islamic terrorist networks. In recent years it has prominently supported Hamas (through the Union of Good). In addition, the ITIC has reliable information that in the past IHH provided logistical support and funding to global jihad networks.
4. IHH’s orientation is radical-Islamic and anti-American, and it is close to the Muslim Brotherhood (Hamas’ parent movement). IHH supports Hamas and does not hide the connection between them. Hamas also considers its links to IHH and Turkey to be extremely important, and regards Turkey as a target audience for its propaganda network (Palestine-Information, Hamas’ main website, has a Turkish version, and as of the end of 2009, the website of its military wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, has also appeared in Turkish).
5. In recent years, especially since Hamas took over the Gaza Strip, IHH has supported Hamas’ propaganda campaigns by organizing public support conferences in Turkey. At those conferences, which featured the participation of senior IHH figures, the heads of IHH expressed their support for Hamas and its strategy (including the armed struggle it favors), in defiance of the Palestinian Authority, Hamas’ rival.

IDF soldiers were equipped with paintball rifles used to disperse minor protests, as well as handguns but were told they should only use them in the face of life-threatening situations.
The soldiers were told they were to verbally convince activists who offer resistance to give up, and only then use paintballs. They were permitted to use their handguns only under extreme circumstances.
At one point, the attackers nabbed one commando, wrested away his handgun, and threw him down from the top deck to the lower deck, 30 feet below. The soldier sustained a serious head wound and lost his consciousness.
Only after this injury did troops ask for permission to use live fire.
Interesting how those always wanting to help Palestine never do the most important, biggest thing to help: rid it of the terrorist group Hamas which both runs and impoverishes it and instigates conflict based upon bigotry towards other faiths.
According to the top-selling Yediot Aharonot daily, the government of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was “furious with the Obama administration for having failed to prevent the resolution from passing… and for choosing to support it.”
The U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Louisiana has filed a court document admitting that James O’Keefe did not intend to tamper with the phones at Mary Landrieu’s office, or commit any other felony.
Oh — and the good folks at the Department of Justice don’t particularly want you to know that. This post reveals that, at O’Keefe’s hearing, the Assistant U.S. Attorney tried not to read that part of the document in court. What’s more, the U.S. Attorney pointedly omitted this critical information from their press release.
