Political persecution via the IRS?

I received an email a bit ago from a friend of Michael Williams, the blogger who created www.taxcheatstamps.com – a stamp that literally says “tax cheat” which is to be stamped over Tim Geithner’s name on currency – alerting me to Williams’ story.

A month after he launched his product, Williams received a letter from the IRS informing him that he was to be audited. Coincidence? It is well-known that Clinton used the IRS as his attack dogs against private citizens and organizations who opposed his policies. Hope and change, indeed.

(You should mosey on over and help fill Williams’ war chest. He’s got a family, including a seven-week-old baby to feed.)
