Bill Maher pays tribute to soldiers by calling them rapists

“People are hesitant to label things besides the actual attempt or total obliteration of an entire group of people as genocide; yet feel it’s OK to use the name of a prolific crime against women as a common term. It desensitizes the harshness of, and neuters the effect of, the word. As a woman, as a friend and relative of victims of this obscene crime, I am offended that Bill Maher found it appropriate to downplay the horror of female violation by using it as a defamatory jab at the bravest people in our country.”
