Undoubtedly. St. Louis Tea Party Coalition clarion call:
THIS WILL BE THE WEIRDEST CONSERVATIVE POLITICAL PROTEST ST. LOUIS HAS EVER SEEN, GUARANTEED!!!
Tea Party protesters will surround Congressional home office buildings from coast to coast at noon local time on Saturday August 22, 2009. The Recess Rally, coordinated by the grassroots groups responsible for the February 27 Nationwide Chicago Tea Party Protest and the Tax Day Tea Party, will give Congress an equivocal message to keep Washington hands off of our healthcare.
In St. Louis, protesters will surround Russ Carnahan’s offices on Manchester in Brentwood and on Baily Road in Crystal City. The Carnahan event will include the best of humor befitting Congressman Carnahan’s HIGH OFFICE. More protesters, including a Fife and Drum brigade, will surround Senator Claire McCaskill’s offices on Delmar. The theme there is the American Revolution–which wasn’t fought for socialism. More protesters will surround Congressman Todd Akin’s offices and Kit Bond’s.
FIRST AMENDMENT IN ACTION
Organizers expect 2,000 protesters or more involved in the events in the St. Louis area.
“Have you checked the polls?”
Even though a solid majority now prefers NO ACTION on healthcare over ObamaCare, opponents of socialized medicine are more intense than ever. This weekend of protests will leave no doubt in anyone’s mind that opponents of socialized medicine mean business, and political careers are in jeopardy. And we’re not afraid of Russ’s mom, no matter how vulgar and vile her mouth might be.
The events begin at noon in numerous locations. They’ll end at a time and place of our choosing.
See www.stlouisteaparty.com for maps of the major venues.
I STRONGLY encourage you to come out to this. It is not to be missed.
